Hank Siegrist, CHP, P.E.Corporate Radiation Safety Officer
Mr. Siegrist has over 35 years of experience in radiological program management associated with the decontamination and decommissioning of radiological and nuclear facilities across the USA. Mr. Siegrist is experienced with radiological analysis, human health risk and dose assessment, application of various licensing documents, environmental sampling and effluent report preparation, radiation dosimetry, and emergency plan support for civilian and naval nuclear programs.
Mr. Siegrist’s involvement has included frequent and direct interfaces with various regulatory bodies such as the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, State of Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, NVLAP, American Nuclear Insurers, and Institute for Nuclear Power Operations.
Other responsibilities included direct input and working task force membership on industry expert committees and lobbying groups (e.g. Nuclear Energy Institute, Electric Power Research Institute). In June 2012, Mr. Siegrist was sponsored by the U.S. Departments of Energy, Commerce, and U.S. State Department to visit the Fukushima Environmental Remediation Technologies Site in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Mr. Siegrist’s experience includes several FUSRAP projects such as the Shpack Landfill, Colonie Site, and the FUDS Watertown Arsenal project, and D&D of St. Albans Veterans Extended Care Facility. Mr. Siegrist has a Master of Engineering degree and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering.
